NON-BINARY PEOPLE AND THE RIGHT TO IDENTITY IN US BRAZILIAN OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS
This course completion work analyzed the legal possibility of recognizing the identity of non binary persons in official Brazilian documents, guiding international advances and the principles of a Democratic State of Law and international human rights treaties, passing through the study and their binary and non-binary classifications, stating that there is a difference between biological identification and sex. This study also analyzed the universality of human rights, identifying non-binary people as subjects of guarantees and protections. Analyzing concepts in which it is concluded that gender is a social construction and the recent ruptures of binary ideas and the great legal helplessness suffered by this category. In this study, the deductive hypothetical method was used, and as for the research techniques, the direct documentary was used, raising data in research and news. With regard to bibliographical research, a study related to the topic was carried out, in books, scientific articles, theses, aiming to reach new conclusions about this very recent topic.
